The theme for 2019 is “Listen, observe, act – in step with God.” 2019 sees the beginning of our new triennium and the coming together of our global
conversations to give guidance for our way forward as a movement.
So our theme resources have been created both to help members engage in the
continuing global listening process and to build on our faith for the future as we move
forward together in step with God.
There are a wide variety of resources on the national web site. Please make use of
them. For further details and information contact Barbara Ford, your Faith and Policy
co-ordinator.
Congratulations! Lynne Tembey, our current Worldwide President
has been awarded the OBE in the 2019 New
Years Honours for her services to Mothers'
Union, women and families. We are so delighted
that her hard work and dedication to our
organisation has been recognised in this way. Families First Magazine Families First is being re-launched as a quarterly ‘members only’ magazine.  The content will change to be more member-focussed, and the new price will be £10 per year. You  will now need to order it directly from Mary Sumner House, and an order form included in the September/ October edition of Families First, which you should just have received. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS – or you will not receive Families First next year! Perhaps you can talk about it in your Branch, so that no-one misses out. It is also a good opportunity for more members to start subscribing to FF (Families First).  Branch Leaders should have spare order forms or contact Linda Borrows  (Diocesan Secretary) for another form. Remember this magazine can be a useful tool for discussing its content at a branch meeting.
